Hi, I'm Chad. Thanks for checking me out. 2026 was my 19th year in Taos
and I can not imagine living anywhere else...
In that time, I've had the pleasure and fortune to experience much of what life in "the North" has to offer. From the good to the bad, the mundane to the complexities that make up this wonderful place we call...or want to call, Home.
Before settling into real estate, I sold and installed low-voltage and early home automation systems, worked in hospitality and customer and owner services in the vacation rental industry, and maybe most enjoyable of all, I was an organic farmer of flowers and fungi. I am probably best known as the "mushroom man" from my time connecting with the local land and community, and bringing in copious piles of delicious gourmet wild mushrooms from regional forests to the Taos Farmers Market.
Blend it all together, and I bring an exceptional eye for detail, a deep understanding of this place, and a keen awareness of the many things that make buying, selling, and owning real estate in Northern New Mexico different—and often more complicated—than almost anywhere else.

Taos real estate doesn't fit neatly into conventional valuation software, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Software built for grids and homogeneous subdivisions struggles with a county full of one-off homes, rural land, unusual improvements, water issues, off-grid property, and enormous geographic variation.
So I built my own.
I maintain an independent market intelligence platform that tracks the movement, pricing, and behavior of the Taos real estate market, from countywide trends down to the way an individual property sits inside it.
